Kitchen Counter Stools Transformed with a Little Paint

Kitchen Counter Stools Transformed with a Little Paint

Painted furniture makeovers are a very popular way to return old furniture to new usefulness or update your existing furniture.  Here I used a primer based spray paint on these metal counter stools.  It did take two cans per stool in order to completely cover the dark brown metal.  The spray paint has held up very well on these counter stools that are used daily.  These soft white painted stools now really belong in this bright kitchen scheme.

Paint and a little time and effort transform these kitchen stools

BEFORE – This dark metal stool was functional but unappealing and  boring.

AFTER -Stools transformed with a little paint, a little work and a little vision.

This soothing green can be used in so many ways.  A modern lift to your media or living room pairs nicely with dark wood accents.  Aloe certainly finds a place in your beach decor as well.  Green, always reliable and a favorite of many, will find a place in most homes. Use Aloe or one of its many variations.

This beautiful door and the window above now feel connected and appear as one overall entryway.

This foyer was plain and stark.  The panels above the door were visually heavy and the surrounding trim felt thin and did not enhance this doorway.  The door and the half round window above appeared as separate entities.  The angular ceiling above seemed out of place.  However, this foyer held much potential.
